Artist Ralph Wolfe Cowan is known for painting the 1956 legendary portrait of HSH Princess Grace of Monaco and the entire Monaco Family in 1981. Having painted many Royals and social families throughout the world, Cowan developed a passion for flowers, often visiting gardens during his world tours. Painting flowers is a recent, but long awaited departure from portraiture, one that he is very passionate about.

“As I paint each flower, I see their distinct personalities.  Their magnificence and grandeur is always apparent in my mind, and their beauty often overwhelms me. I believe that I’ve captured this expression in my Spring in Bloom 2008 Collection.”

Cowan has been featured on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” and “Entertainment Tonight.” The Robb Report, People, Life, Newsweek, Smithsonian Magazine have also glamorized his life and art.
